The Final Day

The time drew near!

We knew he was coming!

This was the day!

We stood waiting.

Watching.

The Silver Ball hovered over The Green Fields.

The Misses watched.

The Frogs leaped.

Sally gripped my arm.

The Radio Played.

Up from under the ground he rose...

Up, Up, Up

Came The Radio Man

Came The Doctor

Came Dr. Jason Q. Lutz.

"My children"

"Yes?"

"I have found the key"

"What is it?"

"Your time has come"

The Day of Ubiquity

The Radio Man arose again today!

We danced for joy. He came from under the earth with more good news from his study.

"Let us rejoice! For I have made a discovery!"

We asked him over and over what it was but he would not tell us right away.

"My followers" said the green man, "The time is near"

We knew this already, so we begged "More, more, more!"

He said that he had almost found the key! He said though "I have found something glorious in the meantime - beyond our wildest imagination"

We were puzzled, but we begged him to continue. He proclaimed

"The Day of Ubiquity approaches!"

I asked The Radio Man what The Day of Ubiquity was. He told me that it was when we would witness all around us the power of what we had been searching for.

Again, The Misses said "Nay, nay! He is a liar" but he didn't care! He knew what was coming and so did we! For we were the faithful few.

Soon a crowd built up around us, they begged "Let us be followers! We are truly committed!" But they were the ones who had said before "He is a liar!" The Radio Man walked past them towards the earth. He turned to tell them that they had missed what was most plain to see.

Sally and I danced with joy! We brought The Silver Ball into The Green Fields with us again to run through the grass.

The Radio Man descended to his place of Study once more. Before he left, he said "Followers, we have made but one discovery! There are more to come before The Day of Ubiquity comes to us, I need your help if we are to decipher the clues!"

"Remember The Radio"

He vanished into the earth once again, but we were not sad, for we knew he was coming again soon to reveal more!

The Radio Man

The Radio man from beneath us came today with good news.

He told us that his time was coming closer! We danced with joy.

Me and Sally went to The Green Fields and ran through the tall grass. Cutting and weaving.

I asked The Radio Man, "What is to be done?"

His green visage turned towards me and said one thing:

"Abide by me"

I answered him "Forever Sir"

He turned away and left to go back down to study.

Now The Misses did not agree with me as usual. They asked me to shut up because it was the day after Radio Day today, and they needed some time to think about the day prior. I asked more questions, but they pierced me with their sharp tongues.

I did not mind one bit! The list was being formed, and they were too blind to see! I grabbed my Frog to go visit Sally.

Sally and I went for a milkshake that afternoon. It was delightful.

The Silver Ball was sitting on the porch beside The Radio.

The Day Second

The Second day brought us to the green walled fence.

We danced in circles. The team of frogs we had grasped went through the bull rushes to dance with us until the moment they had come back.

I turned on Radio to see what was playing. The man came over with a loud voice, shouting.

'The time is near! The time is near!'

'Some old kook' said The Misses, but I didn't doubt Radio.

He came back! But noone listened. The second day brought us much delight, but there were feathers that caused us to ruffle.

The morning after we brought Tea to our neighbours.

The neighbors didn't like the Tea. I asked why? They said 'Nope, not on Radio day'

What did this mean? I didn't know. I asked the green man, but he said to wait for two days. I said okay. I turned it on again.

The Grass field.

What do we find?

The day of enlightenment.

Today started out as a normal day really, the children were playing in the grass like sheep as usual. The clouds were purple with bright golden wisps of light just like everyday.

I had made a covenant from before with Sally to play in the grassy fields, but she did not agree with what I was doing. That's okay. I went running anyways.

She came after. She couldn't help the grass.

We took the silver ball we found the other day with us into the grass fields. It was delightful. I jumped with joy like noone had before. We ran in circles. We dashed, We ran.

Circles, Circles. Penta, penta. The V rose to meet the I.

I, I, I, I.

Twirling I chased Sally round and round.

Through the blades.

We had milkshakes afterwards. It was delightful.

We tuned to Radio. We danced.

The Radio played.

The Radio played.
